Keeper Regina van Eijk kwam in 2018 op 16-jarige leeftijd als derde keeper bij de selectie van de Ajax Vrouwen. In die jaren groeide ze naar het moment dat ze als eerste keeper de wedstrijden moest spelen. Dat gebeurde in het seizoen 2021/2022 toen de de honneurs moest waarnemen van de geblesseerde eerste keeper Lize Kop.

For more than half a century, two sports were intertwined at Ajax: football and baseball. From the 1920s onwards, the American import of baseball offered footballers an ideal alternative during the summer break. Until 1972, Ajax was also a baseball club, and a successful one for many years.

On the club's 126th anniversary, Ajax and adidas present a special baseball jersey and accompanying mini collection. The collection is a tribute to the rich baseball history, where Ajax became a four-time national champion. The baseball shirt is inspired by one of the shirts the club wore while playing baseball, with "Ajax" prominently displayed on the chest in a style characteristic of American sports.
