Keeper Regina van Eijk kwam in 2018 op 16-jarige leeftijd als derde keeper bij de selectie van de Ajax Vrouwen. In die jaren groeide ze naar het moment dat ze als eerste keeper de wedstrijden moest spelen. Dat gebeurde in het seizoen 2021/2022 toen de de honneurs moest waarnemen van de geblesseerde eerste keeper Lize Kop.

Coach Stan Bijl won the tournament himself as a player and now finds himself on the sidelines as the team's coach. We speak with Bijl in the build up to the international youth tournament held on 4, 5 and 6 April at the De Toekomst sports complex.
