Keeper Regina van Eijk kwam in 2018 op 16-jarige leeftijd als derde keeper bij de selectie van de Ajax Vrouwen. In die jaren groeide ze naar het moment dat ze als eerste keeper de wedstrijden moest spelen. Dat gebeurde in het seizoen 2021/2022 toen de de honneurs moest waarnemen van de geblesseerde eerste keeper Lize Kop.

Sunday marks an important day for the Ajax Women. Head coach Anouk Bruil’s side will host Feyenoord at the Johan Cruijff ArenA. The Klassieker is not only a fixture with plenty of appeal, but also an opportunity for Ajax to remain firmly in the title race in the Women’s Eredivisie. This week, the Ajacieden trained at sports complex de Toekomst to ensure they are fully prepared for Sunday’s clash with the Rotterdam side.
