Joëlle Smits

Joëlle Smits made her debut in the Azerion Women’s Eredivisie at the age of seventeen with FC Twente. The eight-time international finished as the Netherlands’ top scorer three seasons in a row. In the summer of 2025, she made the move to Ajax. On September 6, 2025, she played her first match in the white-red-white against ADO Den Haag, immediately scoring her first goal for Ajax.

Joëlle Smits signs two-year contract with Ajax

Ajax has reached an agreement with Joëlle Smits regarding the transfer of the forward. Smits joins from PSV and has signed a two-year contract in Amsterdam, running until June 30, 2027.
