Regina van Eijk (Woerden, March 9, 2002) joined the Ajax Talent Team in 2018. In the summer of 2021, she was promoted to the first team and made her Eredivisie debut on October 8, 2021, in a match against VV Alkmaar. Later that same year, the goalkeeper established herself as Ajax’s first-choice keeper. In recognition of her performances, she was named Ajax Women’s Talent of the Year at the end of that season.
During the 2022/23 campaign, Van Eijk was sidelined through injury, but she returned to the team in September 2024. From that moment on, the youth international, who has also received multiple call-ups to the Dutch national team, became an integral part of the first team once again. On Saturday, November 8, 2025, she made her 100th appearance for Ajax in a match against PSV Women at the Johan Cruijff ArenA, earning a place in the Club of 100. In total, Van Eijk made 117 official appearances in an Ajax shirt.
Ajax Women’s Technical Manager Dolf Roks: ''The way Regina has built her career is a real example to many. She arrived here as a young talent and now leaves as the club’s second captain, having made more than 100 appearances for Ajax’s first team. She developed into an outstanding goalkeeper at Ajax, and this move to Bayern Munich, one of Europe’s elite clubs, is a step she has earned through her hard work over the past few seasons. We wish her every success in Germany.''
