Marcos Leonardo

Marcos Leonardo (Itapetinga, Brazil, May 2, 2003) began his professional career in his homeland with Santos before moving to Europe at the start of 2024, when he signed for Benfica. Later that same year, the Brazilian international made the switch from Portugal to Al Hilal. He went on to make 82 official appearances for the Saudi Arabian club, scoring 48 goals. In the summer of 2026, he completed a move to Ajax.

Marcos Leonardo joins Ajax from Al-Hilal

Ajax, Al-Hilal and Marcos Leonardo have reached an agreement on the transfer of the striker to Amsterdam. The 23-year-old Brazilian has signed a five-year contract, running until June 30, 2031. Ajax will pay the Saudi Arabian club a transfer fee of just under € 20 million.
