Daley Blind is back in Amsterdam. As of Wednesday morning, the defender is officially under contract with his Ajax once again. We were there to follow the first 24 hours of his return, from signing his contract with his family in Amsterdam to his first training session in Garderen.
They speak on the phone every day: Daley Blind and Davy Klaassen. So we let Klaassen put the questions to his close friend, who returned to Ajax on Wednesday. “This club is in my heart. I’ve said that many times before. It has always been my dream to finish my playing career at Ajax.”
It is a familiar sight: Daley Blind in an Ajax shirt. His third spell in red and white officially began on Wednesday morning. With more than 300 appearances for Ajax's first team and seven league titles to his name, a true Ajacied has returned. Welcome home, Daley.
