Devyne joined the youth academy of Ajax in 2016 and underwent a rapid development. On November 10, 2020, coach Erik ten Hag included him in the club's first team. He was chosen as the Talent of the Future in 2020.

Devyne Rensch awarded the Abdelhak Nouri Trophy
Devyne Rensch has been named the biggest talent of Ajax’s youth academy for the 2019/20 season. The defender follows last year’s winner, Naci Ünüvar. Rensch received the trophy on Wednesday afternoon.
