Jordan Henderson joined Ajax in the winter of 2024, signing a contract for a minimum of two and a half years. The English international had played half a season in Saudi Arabia before his arrival. Prior to that, he gained recognition with the English club Liverpool, winning the UEFA Champions League in 2019.

Jordan Henderson felt Ajax had their work cut out against NEC. The Amsterdam team could manage no better than a 2-2 draw. "It's disappointing. Sunday was a tough game. Today (Sunday, ed.) we packed loads of energy in, but victory eluded us."
Jordan Henderson arrived in Amsterdam less than two weeks ago. The Englishman made his Ajax debut last weekend in the home game against PSV. He looks back on his first days as an Ajax player with a positive feeling. "Even when I'm in the city, people make me feel good."
