Nurija van Schoonhoven was born on February 8, 1998, in Ulyanovsk, Russia. She made her Women’s Eredivisie debut on November 7, 2015, wearing the shirt of PEC Zwolle. The former youth international then played for PSV, FC Twente, OH Leuven, and FC Utrecht. Since the summer of 2025, Van Schoonhoven has been playing for Ajax.
