Ajax signs Joeri Heerkens
Ajax, AC Sparta Prague, and Joeri Heerkens have reached an agreement over the transfer of the goalkeeper to Ajax. The 19-year-old keeper has signed a five-year contract, running until June 30, 2030. The Dutch youth international was under contract with the Czech club until mid-2027.

But Ajax player and future teammate Dies Janse has known the goalie, who joined from Sparta Prague, for some time. Last summer, they won the U19 European Championship together in Romania.
