Ajax goalkeeper Vítězslav Jaroš has been ruled out for the rest of the season. The Amsterdam club’s shot-stopper sustained a serious knee injury during training today.

Vitezslav Jaros will be an Ajax player next season. The Czech goalkeeper is joining on a one-year loan from the English club Liverpool. The 23-year-old shot-stopper believes Ajax's style of play suits him well. "Ajax like to do things the Ajax way. That suits me. At Liverpool, we tried to play in a similar way last season. I'm comfortable playing with the ball at my feet."

Ajax have reached an agreement with Liverpool and Vitezslav Jaros. The 23-year-old goalkeeper joins on loan from the English club. He will return to Liverpool once the loan period ends.
