Branco van den Boomen
Branco van den Boomen has started his second spell at Ajax. The 28-year-old midfielder from Veldhoven previously played in Ajax's youth academy, signing a three-year contract in Amsterdam at the age of sixteen in 2011. In 2014, he left for FC Eindhoven. After stints with SC Heerenveen, Willem II, De Graafschap, and French club Toulouse, he returned to Ajax this summer.

Chuba Akpom joins Ipswich Town FC on loan
Ajax, Chuba Akpom and Ipswich Town FC have reached an agreement for the loan of the forward to the English club. The loan takes effect immediately and runs until June 30, 2026. The agreement includes an option to buy for the English side. The 29-year-old Briton’s contract with Ajax runs until 30 June 2028.
Ajax kick off season with home win over Telstar
Ajax, led by Wout Weghorst, started the VriendenLoterij Eredivisie with a win. The striker found the net twice against Telstar, in a match that ended 2-0.
Ajax completes final session ahead of Eredivisie start
