Youri Regeer returns to Ajax

Ajax and FC Twente have reached an agreement on the immediate transfer of Youri Regeer. The 21-year-old player has signed a contract with Ajax lasting until June 30, 2029.

Ajax suffered defeat against FC RFS on Thursday evening, with the Latvian side securing a 1-0 victory on home turf. In one week's time, Ajax will face Galatasaray in the final matchday of the League Phase, where they must fight to secure progression in the UEFA Europa League.

Farioli: 'That can’t be an excuse'
