Ashleigh kwam in de zomer van 2022 over van het Franse Montpellier, waar zij twee jaar speelde. De geboren Amsterdamse startte met voetballen bij SC Buitenboys. Op haar vijftiende ging ze naar CTO Amsterdam. Na drie jaar bij het Centrum voor Topsport en Onderwijs vertrok Weerden naar FC Twente Vrouwen. Daar speelde de linksbuiten drie seizoenen en werd ze in 2019 kampioen van Nederland
