Maarten Paes

Maarten Paes was born on 14 May 1998 in Nijmegen and also holds an Indonesian passport. The goalkeeper has been playing in Dallas since the summer of 2022 and made his debut for the Indonesia national team in 2024. He previously played in the Netherlands for NEC and FC Utrecht. He has been playing for Ajax since January 2026.

Ajax signs Maarten Paes

Ajax, FC Dallas and Maarten Paes have reached agreement on the immediate transfer of the goalkeeper to Ajax. The 27-year-old Paes has signed a contract running until June 30, 2029. He was under contract with the American club until the end of this calendar year.
