Ajax Women welcomed a special visitor to training on Friday morning. Former Ajax player Lily Yohannes stopped by to catch up with her former teammates and members of the coaching staff, making for a warm reunion at training complex de Toekomst.

Meanwhile, head coach Anouk Bruil's squad continued their preparations for the next pre-season fixture. On Saturday, Ajax Women will take on Ter Leede in their final friendly before travelling to Austria for a week-long training camp.


The team will depart for Brixen im Thale on Monday, where they will spend the week training and continuing their preparations for the 2026/27 season. The training camp will conclude on Friday with an international friendly against German side FC Nürnberg, after which Ajax will return to the Netherlands to enter the final stage of their pre-season programme.

Ajax Women have won their first pre-season match of the 2026/2027 season. At training complex de Toekomst, the German side Borussia Mönchengladbach were beaten 1-0. The team, coached by Anouk Bruil, made a successful start to their preparations.

Danique Noordman: rapid development in Amsterdam

Danique Noordman is taking the next step in her career as she leaves Ajax to join Italian side Juventus. The 22-year-old midfielder moved from PEC Zwolle to Ajax in the summer of 2023 and made 59 appearances for the Ajax Women first team.
