Extension of contract and loan move for Julian Rijkhoff to FC Andorra

Ajax have reached an agreement with FC Andorra on the loan transfer of Julian Rijkhoff. The 21-year-old striker will spend this season on loan at the Spanish second-tier club until the summer of 2027. The loan agreement includes an option to buy for FC Andorra. In addition, Rijkhoff has extended his contract with Ajax by one year. His new deal now runs until June 30, 2028, with an option for an additional season.

Rijkhoff (Purmerend, January 25, 2005) joined Ajax from Borussia Dortmund in the winter of 2024. The forward, who came through Ajax’s youth academy, made his official first-team debut for Ajax on Thursday, February 15, 2024 in the home match against FK Bodø/Glimt in the UEFA Europa Conference League. In total, he made eleven appearances for the first team. Last season, Rijkhoff spent a loan spell at Almere City FC.
