Touon (Düsseldorf, Germany, August 7, 2003) began her professional career with SGS Essen in 2020, competing in the German Frauen-Bundesliga. After three seasons at Essen, she moved to Austrian side St. Pölten. In the summer of 2025, she returned to her native Germany by joining FC Köln. During the second half of last season, she spent time on loan at her former club, SGS Essen. Touon has earned four caps for the Switzerland national team.

Ajax Women’s Technical Manager Dolf Roks: "Despite her relatively young age, Ella is an experienced player with a positive mentality. She is a reliable left-back with strong technical ability and adds dynamism to the team’s play. As a result, she also has the quality to make a valuable contribution going forward. Ella is a Switzerland international and has played matches in Germany’s top division. That experience will be a valuable asset to our squad."
