Ryan van de Pavert joins SC Cambuur on loan

Ajax, Ryan van de Pavert and SC Cambuur have reached an agreement regarding the player’s loan move to the club from Leeuwarden. The loan deal for the twenty-year-old defender and midfielder will run for one season, until 30 June 2027. He remains under contract with Ajax until 30 June 2029.

Van de Pavert (24 January 2006, Amsterdam) has been part of Ajax’s youth academy since 2017. The Amsterdam-born player has so far made twenty appearances in the Keuken Kampioen Divisie for Jong Ajax.

Changes to Ajax U23 coaching staff

While Ajax's first team will report for pre-season training on Thursday, the Ajax U23 squad will return a day earlier to begin preparations for the new campaign. Several changes have been made to the Ajax U23 coaching staff. Carlos García, who joined Ajax in February as assistant to Oscar García at both Ajax U23 and Ajax 1, has been appointed head coach with immediate effect.
