Changes to Ajax U23 coaching staff

While Ajax's first team will report for pre-season training on Thursday, the Ajax U23 squad will return a day earlier to begin preparations for the new campaign. Several changes have been made to the Ajax U23 coaching staff. Carlos García, who joined Ajax in February as assistant to Oscar García at both Ajax U23 and Ajax 1, has been appointed head coach with immediate effect.

Carlos García will be assisted by Toni Astorgano and Urby Emanuelson. Juan Pablo Colinas returns to Ajax U23 as goalkeeping coach, a role he also fulfilled over the past few months as part of Oscar García’s coaching staff at both Ajax U23 and Ajax 1.
