Ajax and Sparta Rotterdam have reached an agreement on the transfer of Nick Verschuren. The 21-year-old defender was under contract with Ajax until June 30, 2028.

Verschuren (Amsterdam, January 13, 2005) had been with Ajax since 2014. The Amsterdam-born defender made his professional debut for Jong Ajax on October 20, 2023 in the match against FC Dordrecht. Last season, he featured in the Eredivisie on loan at FC Volendam. In total, Verschuren made 50 official appearances for Jong Ajax.

The 21-year-old player already spent the second half of last season on loan at Telstar and will once again be loaned to the Eredivisie club for the coming season. The defender’s contract with Ajax runs until 30 June 2028.
