The match in Alkmaar is the final one in the first rounds this season. After Sunday, the competition goes on hold for a while owing to international fixtures. Ajax also wants to win this seventh match in the Eredivisie in order to keep up their perfect record. So far, the Amsterdam side has won all six games in the league.
