The preseason campaign has kicked off. Ajax opened their preparations for the new season on Saturday with a match against FC Den Bosch. There was a completely different Ajax team on the field in each half. After trailing 0-2, the Ajax players managed to equalize through Gabriel Misehouy and David Kalokoh, bringing the score level.
The Ajax squad was back out on the training pitch Friday afternoon, for a new training session. Maurice Steijn's Ajax team worked up a sweat at the de Toekomst training ground in some glorious weather.

It is one of the least altered home jerseys in the world, an approach the club take great pride in. To add an element of the club’s rich heritage, the Ajax crest features centrally on the jersey, the position where the Ajax crest first made its debut in the early 70’s. The Ajax crest moved to the top left in the 1982/1983 season, when Ajax introduced TDK as first shirt sponsor. In 1991/1992 the Ajax crest returned to its original central position for another seventeen seasons, with ABN Amro as main sponsor.
It's the second week of preparation for the new season. On Tuesday morning, head coach Maurice Steijn's team concluded a tough training session at De Toekomst.
