The Ajax squad was back out on the training pitch Friday afternoon, for a new training session. Maurice Steijn's Ajax team worked up a sweat at the de Toekomst training ground in some glorious weather.

Ajax started preparations for the 2023/2024 season at the end of last week. Last Friday morning's schedule started with training out on the pitch, and later that day the Ajax players worked on their fitness levels out in the Amsterdamse Bos park. This week, the squad continued their training programme in the run-up to the new season.

Ajax will play a closed friendly against FC Den Bosch Saturday afternoon, kicking off at 1pm.

Our in-house photographer was once again at the de Toekomst training ground on Friday, and grabbed some amazing shots.

2023/2024 Ajax home jersey: crest back to original, central position

Adidas and Ajax proudly present the 2023/2024 home kit. The white/red/white Ajax home kit is instantly recognizable, as all true football jersey classics. It is one of the least altered home jerseys in the world, an approach the club take great pride in. To add an element of the club’s rich heritage, the Ajax crest features centrally on the jersey, the position where the Ajax crest first made its debut in the early 70’s.
