Ajax and Amber Visscher have agreed to a contract extension. The new deal for the 24-year-old defender runs until June 30, 2028. Her previous contract was due to expire on June 30, 2027.

Visscher (March 2, 2002, Zeewolde) began her professional career at FC Utrecht. In the summer of 2025, she joined Ajax. She made her Ajax Women's debut on September 18, 2025, in the UEFA Women's Europa Cup qualifying match against Sturm Graz. To date, Visscher has made 25 appearances for Ajax Women.

Ajax Women's technical manager Dolf Roks said: "Amber has settled in quickly since joining Ajax and has developed well. She is a reliable defender and has shown that she can be of great value to the team. We see a bright future for Amber at Ajax, which is why we are delighted that she has extended her contract."
