The man of the match, Steven Berghuis, was happy with his performance against Fortuna Sittard. The right-winger scored the beautiful opening goal. "The first goal was old-school. Cutting in and then scoring in the far corner. The hand kiss after the goal was for ‘the little one’. She's four. It was a nice moment. Most of all, it's great to have been able to make a difference in that position. I can play there."

Even so, he has played most of the time this season in the midfield. After the match, Berghuis didn't want to choose his favourite position. "Against this kind of opponent, when you have seventy percent ball possession, I can play very well on the right wing with a lot of variation around me."

"Most of all I'm a creative attacker. I play where the trainer wants to use me. I also played there against Napoli and Union Berlin, and didn't stand out as much then."

Berghuis scored his second goal with his right, non-dominant, foot. "Rulli complimented me recently during training that he hadn't seen many left-footers who can also shoot like that with their right. That's nice."
