It was good to see Silvano Vos and Mika Godts make their appearance as substitutes. It was their debut for Ajax 1 for both of them.

Ajax was able to take the lead early. Berghuis cut in from the right wing and curled the ball beautifully off the inside of the post. After that, the home team had chances to double the score, but Jorge Sánchez and Dusan Tadic were unable to take advantage.

They scored again in the 27th minute. Berghuis received the ball and then shot a magnificent ball with his right foot into the roof of the goal: 2-0.

Berghuis also provided two assists after the break. In the 54th minute, he served it on a plate back to his namesake Bergwijn who found a devastating strike: 3-0. It was the winger's tenth Eredivisie goal of the season.

In the closing stages, Berghuis played an important role again. He found Kenneth Taylor in the centre, the midfielder took a few more metres and then slipped Ajax's fourth goal diagonally into the netting.

Klaassen after Feyenoord - Ajax: 'I thought: is this really happing?'

Davy Klaassen was the hot topic after the match between Feyenoord and Ajax. The midfielder made the winning goal (1-2) and got hit in the head by an object thrown from the crowd. The match was paused for half an hour after that. "There was some sort of altercation which I tried to calm down. All of a sudden, I felt something hit my head. It just hurt at first. That quickly changed into anger. I thought to myself: is this really happening?"
