Ajax Women draw Brøndby IF in UEFA Women's Champions League qualifiers

Ajax Women will face Brøndby IF in the second qualifying round of the UEFA Women's Champions League. This was determined by the draw held in Nyon on Thursday afternoon. The match will be played on Wednesday, August 5. Should the Amsterdam side win, they will play the winner of Slavia Prague - Rangers WFC on Saturday, August 8. The venue for the match(es) is yet to be confirmed.

If Ajax Women also come out on top on August 8, they will progress to the third and final qualifying round for the European main stage. Those matches are scheduled for August 26 and September 2. The last time the Amsterdam side reached the UEFA Women's Champions League group stage was in the 2023/2024 season, when Ajax went on to reach the quarter-finals, eventually being knocked out by Chelsea.
