Ajax have agreed a deal with Bayern Munich for Ryan Gravenberch. The midfielder will transfer to the German club per the 30th of June, 2022. Gravenberch was under contract at Ajax until June 30, 2023. The transfer fee is € 18.5 million. Due to potential add-ons, the fee could go up to € 24 million.

Gravenberch was born on the 16th of May, 2002 in Amsterdam. He came into the youth academy of Ajax in 2010 and made his debut in the first team on September 23, 2018 against PSV. The youth graduate played 103 official matches for Ajax wherein he scored twelve goals.

The twenty-year-old became Eredivisie champions three times, in 2019, 2021 and 2022. Two times he won the national double, winning the league title and the KNVB Cup. In 2019, Gravenberch also won the Super Cup or Johan Cruyff Shield.
