Ajax and Amourricho van Axel Dongen have reached an agreement to terminate the forward's contract by mutual consent. His deal with Ajax was originally due to run until June 30, 2027.
Van Axel Dongen (Almere, September 29, 2004) joined Ajax's youth academy in 2013. He made his first-team debut on 15 December 2021 in the Dutch Cup tie against Barendrecht. The right-footed attacker went on to make eight official appearances for the Ajax first team.
The winger spent the 2025/2026 season on loan at sc Heerenveen.
