Ajax has reached an agreement with Thilo Kehrer and AS Monaco regarding the loan signing of the 29-year-old player. The defender joins Ajax with immediate effect and will spend the remainder of the season on loan from the club from the Principality.
Kehrer was born in Tübingen, Germany, on September 21, 1996. Having progressed through the youth ranks at Schalke 04, he made his professional debut for the German club in 2016. Two years later, he secured a move to Paris Saint-Germain. In 2022, the 28-cap Germany international moved to England after signing for West Ham United. Following a loan spell with AS Monaco, he completed a permanent transfer to the Monegasque club in the summer of 2024.
