Kroes started as general manager at Ajax

Alex Kroes has started as Ajax's general manager. The 50-year-old Ajax member started work at the Johan Cruyff ArenA on Friday. Kroes was nominated as Ajax's new general manager and board chairman in August 2023. In doing so, he succeeds Edwin van der Sar. From 4 September 2023 to 15 March 2024, Jan van Halst was Ajax's temporary director of general affairs.
