Contract extension Mark Verkuijl
Ajax and Mark Verkuijl have reached an agreement on a new contract. The 19-year-old midfielder's new deal will run until June 30, 2028. His previous contract was set to expire in mid-2025.

Mark Verkuijl has been part of Ajax U23 since the summer of 2024. The footballer, who was born in Ede, can play both in midfield and defense. Before joining Ajax in 2014, Verkuijl played for DOVO.
