After a disappointing season, Ajax Women arrived in Estoril, Portugal, to take part in the World Sevens Football tournament. This newly launched international competition features a different format from regular matches: teams consist of seven players and games last two halves of fifteen minutes. We followed the Ajax side during their debut at the tournament.
As part of their preparations for the 2025/2026 football season, Ajax will take part in the Como Cup. The tournament in Italy will be held from July 23 to 27, 2025. In addition to Ajax and Como, Celtic and Al Ahli will also participate.
Ajax has reached an agreement with John Heitinga regarding the coach’s move to Amsterdam. Heitinga is signing a contract with Ajax as head coach until June 30, 2027. Marcel Keizer will be his assistant and is signing a contract of the same duration.
