In the summer of 2024, Ajax coach Francesco Farioli included Janse in the Ajax 1 training camp squad. On Sunday, August 11, Janse made his official debut for the first team against SC Heerenveen: 1-0.

With a résumé listing only Czech clubs, new Ajax goalkeeper Joeri Heerkens may not be a familiar name to the wider public. But Ajax player and future teammate Dies Janse has known the goalie, who joined from Sparta Prague, for some time. Last summer, they won the U19 European Championship together in Romania. Spain were defeated 1-0 in the final, with Heerkens keeping a clean sheet.
Ajax and Dies Janse have reached an agreement on a new contract. The new deal for the 19-year-old defender runs from July 1, 2025 until June 30, 2029, with an option to extend for another year.
