Baas was born on March 17, 2003, in Dirksland and has been playing at Ajax since 2018 after making a transfer from Excelsior's youth academy. The left-footed player made his debut in professional football during the match De Graafschap – Ajax U23 (2-2) on December 11, 2020. At the start of January 2023, he officially became part of the first team and has played ten matches so far.
