During the training session, it was clear that Devyne Rensch was back on the field. The Ajax player had to be substituted in the match against PSV at home a few weeks ago. "He has rejoined the team. That's correct," Ajax coach Van 't Schip confirmed. Branco van den Boomen also returned to the training field. A full match is still too early for him. "Branco is back in the match squad for the first time. Starting is still too early. Whether he will come on as a substitute depends on how the match unfolds."

Additionally, the coach provided an update on Ahmetcan Kaplan and Julian Rijkhoff, who played in the Ajax U23 - MVV match on Monday. "We collectively decided that Kaplan has played enough full matches for Ajax U23 after his injury. Since we couldn't say with full certainty how far Rensch was on Monday, we wanted him to play 45 minutes. He could play against Bodø/Glimt. Whether he starts or comes on later, you will see on Thursday evening. Furthermore, Julian is in the match squad for the first time."
