Rijkhoff: 'I was hungry to score that third one'

On Monday evening, Julian Rijkhoff played his first match at sports complex De Toekomst since his return to Amsterdam. The 19-year-old striker played an important role in the 3-0 victory against MVV by scoring two goals. Together with his friend Silvano Vos, who 'broke' into the interview, he looks back on the match. "I'm glad I got to show myself this match; it can only get better."

Highlights sc Heerenveen - Ajax

Ajax suffered their first defeat of 2024 on Sunday, away to SC Heerenveen. The Ajax team was beaten 3-2 in the Abe Lenstra Stadium. Ajax found themselves trailing 3-0 after 47 minutes, but did still manage to fight their way back into the game. However, the equaliser failed to materialise in the hectic closing stages.
