Kasper Dolberg celebrates his 29th birthday this Tuesday. The ice-cold finisher made his official debut for Ajax in July 2016 in the UEFA Champions League qualifying round against PAOK Thessaloniki. Across two spells in Amsterdam, the Dane scored (and continues to score) many phenomenal goals. In honour of his birthday, we have compiled ten fine strikes by the Ajax player.
Kasper Dolberg suffered a knee injury during training with the Denmark national team on Tuesday. The Danish Football Association has confirmed the news. As a result, the striker will return to Amsterdam. Anton Gaaei has travelled in the opposite direction. Due to another injury in the squad, the full-back has been added to the Denmark national team selection.
Kasper Dolberg capped off his performance against Willem II with a goal in the closing stages of Ajax's match against the Tilburg side. It was a strike he had already come close to scoring earlier in the game, but more importantly, it added extra value to what had already been an impressive display in the VriendenLoterij Eredivisie clash at the Johan Cruijff ArenA. That is why this edition of Ajax Insights focuses on our striker. Ajax Insights is developed by Team Rockstars IT.
With Mika Godts leaving Ajax, the club is not only losing an outstanding footballer but also a guaranteed source of goals. Whether he was providing the assist or finding the net himself, Godts always delivered. These are all 26 goals and 28 assists recorded by the Belgian during his time at Ajax.
