Ajax has boarded the plane to Birmingham with 23 squad players. The team, led by coach John van 't Schip, will play the return leg against Aston Villa in the UEFA Conference League on Thursday evening at 9:00 PM (Dutch time). The first match in the round of 16 of the European club tournament ended in a 0-0 draw in Amsterdam.
