Jurriën Timber made his debut on March 7, 2020, in the Eredivisie match sc Heerenveen – Ajax (1-3) and divided his 100 matches up to the away game against Excelsior on January 29, 2023, like this:

2. Brief European debut
Timber’s European debut is one he will probably remember for a long time. During the extra time in the UEFA Champions League game against Atalanta, he substituted the injured Lisandro Martínez. Shortly after his entry on the highest stage of European football, Timber collided with the Italian goalkeeper after which he left the field with an injury. Timber had just played a few minutes.

3. First goal
The defender made his first goal on May 2, 2021, in the championship match against FC Emmen. Timber made the first goal in an empty Johan Cruyff ArenA, in the match that would be won 4-0 by the Amsterdam-based club. That day, Ajax added its 35th league championship to the already impressive list. Timber made his first League Championship extra special by adding a goal of his own.

7. The winning goal!
On February 19, 2022, Jurriën Timber was the only one to score in the away game against Willem II. Since it was the only goal, Timber scored the winning goal. He scored the goal with his belly. Whoever does well as Ajacied, has a high possibility to make it to his or her national team. This was the case for Timber too. On June 2, 2021, he became the 127th Ajacied to play for the Dutch national team. Gerard 'Gé' Fortgens was the first Ajacied who got this honor, on March 19, 1911.

A century after Fortgens first, Timer started in the friendly match against Scotland. This match was a test for the 2021 (or 2020) European Championships. The Ajacied formed a solid block of central defenders together with Matthijs de Ligt and Stefan de Vrij. Timber played 69 minutes.
