Ryan van de Pavert returns to Ajax

Ajax and SC Cambuur have reached an agreement regarding the return of Ryan van de Pavert. The twenty-year-old defender was on loan at the Eredivisie club but will return to Amsterdam with immediate effect. Van de Pavert remains under contract with Ajax until June 30, 2029.

Van de Pavert: "Due to personal circumstances, things have not gone as I had hoped in recent months. After positive discussions, we decided that returning to Ajax is the right step for me at this moment. The defender was born in Amsterdam on January 24, 2006, and has been part of Ajax's youth academy since 2017. Van de Pavert will join the Ajax U23 squad, for whom he has made 24 appearances to date.
