The forward spent the past six months on loan at Espanyol and was originally expected to stay with the Spanish side until the end of the current season. However, that loan period has now been brought to an early conclusion. Last season, Ünüvar played on loan for FC Twente, and during the 2022/2023 season, he was loaned to the Turkish club Trabzonspor.
Ünüvar (Zaandam, June 13, 2003) made his debut for Ajax's first team on January 22, 2020, during a Dutch Cup match against SV Spakenburg (7-0). In total, the Turkey U21 international played three official matches for Ajax's first team.
