Ünüvar (Zaandam, June 13, 2003) followed Ajax’s youth academy from 2011 and made his debut for Ajax 1 in the Dutch Cup match Ajax – SV Spakenburg: 7-0. He managed to immediately score a goal in that match. The right footed attacker played three more matches for Ajax’s first team. Besides those appearances, he played 73 matches for Ajax U23, in which he scored 24 goals.
Naci Ünüvar extends contract
Ajax and Naci Ünüvar have reached an agreement for a new contract for the 19-year-old. His previous deal ran until June 30, 2023. The attacking midfielder's new contract runs until June 30, 2026. Ünüvar is part of the first team since the preparation for the new season. He gets the chance to prove himself in the first team.
