Huntelaar (Voor-Drempt, August 12, 1983) is Technical Manager at Ajax and reports to the Director of Football Sven Mislintat. Since March 2022, Huntelaar has been part of the technical management. He will mostly focus on the flow of Ajax U23 players to Ajax 1, and the composition and contracts of the players in Ajax U23 and the youth academy.
Huntelaar: "I am mostly carrying this role on my own, but I will work together with scouting and Sven, of course. The full picture is very important for my development. We had many good conversations about that before we decided to extend my contract."
Mislintat: "We are happy that Klaas Jan has extended his contract. In his role as technical manager in the broader sense and at Ajax U23, he can develop himself further and be valuable for Ajax. I am looking forward to a long and good collaboration with him."
