It may be the international break, but work is continuing at full pace at de Toekomst ahead of the return of the VriendenLoterij Eredivisie. Ajax will be back in action at the Johan Cruijff ArenA on Saturday, October 10, when NEC visit Amsterdam.

With several Ajax players away on international duty, those who remained enjoyed themselves at the club's training ground. During the warm-up, for example, they took part in a series of juggling challenges.

After the relaxed start to the session, the focus shifted towards the resumption of the league campaign. Ajax have been in prolific form, scoring 21 goals in seven league matches. That did not stop the coaching staff from adding a finishing drill to the programme. One strike was even better than the next, as the players found the net in spectacular fashion.

"We need to be a team that constantly looks to attack the opposition’s goal," head coach Míchel Sánchez said in an earlier interview.
