Ajax were making final preparations Saturday for the match against FC Emmen at home. John Heitinga's squad will face the team from Drenthe in the Johan Cruyff ArenA Sunday evening, kick-off at 8 pm.

Ajax will be confronting FC Emmen in the 29th round of the Eredivisie. The last time the Amsterdam team took on the Drenthe club at home, Ajax chalked up a convincing win: 4-0. Jurriën Timber, Sébastien Haller, Devyne Rensch and Davy Klaassen all scored that time, on 2 May, 2021.

The de Toekomst training ground was home to one final training session. With a thorough warm-up, some ball-passing exercises and various set pieces, the squad put the finishing touches to their preparation.
