On Friday afternoon, Ajax trained at sports complex de Toekomst in the run-up to the Eredivisie match against NEC. The 30th round match of the competition starts on Saturday at 4:30 p.m. Ajax is currently defending a four-point lead over PSV in second place.

It is a day after the news of the departure of Coach, Erik ten Hag, to Manchester United. He signed a contract with the English superpower until June 2025.

Ajax player, Davy Klaassen, will always have good memories of the match against NEC. The midfielder made his Eredivisie debut for Ajax in Nijmegen in the 2011/2012 season. The Amsterdam team won that game 0-3. Klaassen scored the third goal for Ajax.
