Ajax completed its last training in the run-up to the next Eredivisie match: Excelsior away. The match against the current number 13 on the rank takes place at 14:30 on Sunday.

The Eredivisie matches follow each other in rapid succession. Three days after the draw against FC Volendam in the Johan Cruyff ArenA, Excelsior is next. This time, outside of Amsterdam. At sports complex De Toekomst, the final finishing touches were put in place in preparation for the 19th round of the Eredivisie.

The Ajacieden started their last training session with an extensive warm-up. After a few rondo’s and the usual position games, the Ajacieden were ready for the match in Rotterdam.

Ajax removes Alfred Schreuder from active duty

Ajax has removed Alfred Schreuder from active duty with immediate effect. The managers contract ran till June 30, 2024, but has been terminated. The disappointing results and lack of development within the team are the main reason for this decision. The management of the club is not longer confident about their agreement. Assistant coach Matthias Kaltenbach’s contract will also be terminated with immediate effect.
