While international tournaments are still ongoing, a number of Ajax players trained in Amsterdam for the very first time this season. Present on the training ground were the likes of Noussair Mazraoui, Zakaria Labyad, Sean Klaiber and brand new goalkeepers Remko Pasveer and Jay Gorter.
This pre-season Ajax will travel to the Austrian town of Bramberg, where Erik ten Hag's squad will build up towards friendlies against Anderlecht and Bayern München.
Ajax will play it's first official tie of the season against N.E.C. on August, 14th.
Ajax and Devyne Rensch have agreed on a contract extension. Rensch was out of contract on 30 June 2023. The defenders new contract runs till 30 June 2025.
The KNVB has confirmed all the fixtures for the new Eredivisie season. Ajax are due to play N.E.C. at home in the first round. The first "Classic" derby is scheduled for Sunday, 19 December, in Rotterdam.
Ajax has reached an agreement with Shakthar Donetsk for the transfer of Lassina Traoré. The center forward’s transfer to the Ukrainian club is effective immediately. Traoré was still under contract with Ajax until June 30, 2022.
