Ajax have won the away match against Willem II in Tilburg on Sunday afternoon. Francesco Farioli’s team won 1-2. The goals on behalf of the Amsterdam-based team were scored by Oliver Edvardsen and Wout Weghorst. With this victory, Ajax have increased their lead to nine points.
Francesco Farioli was happy with the victory after Sunday’s match. He had seen a dominant Ajax against Willem II but had to wait long for a goal from the Amsterdam side. “Patience was the key to the win today,” Farioli said.
